Amazing Days

We have been without internet connection for a few days, so now I have to try and remember what all has been happening. We arrived in the Galilee region on Monday after touring through Caesarea. Jack gave a great performance as Paul giving his defense before King Agrippa, Bernice and Porcius Festus. After a great lunch, Pastor Sam taught us from the Word on Mt. Carmel.

Yesterday was truly a highlight. We started the day with worship on the Sea of Galilee. We then moved to the Jordan River where Pastor Sam and Tonye baptized some team members for the first time and others for the sentiment of it! Our personal highlight was watching Sam and Tonye baptize Chante for the first time. Tears were abounding all around!

Today we experienced the culture of Israel as it would have been in the first century. We spent time at Nazareth Village and then learned how to make goat cheese and pita bread, and then we rode donkeys.

Amazing days in an amazing country!
